Cette création est un journal intime de l'humain. La photographie intervient ici comme révélateur, rendant lisible, visible ce qui ne l'est pas: émotions, pensées et obsessions de l'être. Ce projet photographique est le témoignage d'une expérience sur la compréhension de l'humain. Il n'est pas question ici de miroir mais de signifiant.

Création vivante, témoignage de la réalité et virtualité de l'humain

La mise en scène du projet restitue une atmosphère mouvante animée par les choses de l'invisible, comme un voyage en apnée au sein d'une mémoire virtuelle fragmentée de pensées témoignant d'une réalité humaine où les repères sont bouleversés comme par une ivresse de souvenirs; séquelle d'une expérience qui dura 366 jours.

Ce projet s'est déroulé durant une année complète, celle de mes 20 ans, sans aucune interruption, du 12 avril 2001 au 12 avril 2002.

Le concept étant de prendre plusieurs séries de photographies par jour – afin d'illustrer pensées, émotions, sensations et visions propres à chaque instant – cela représente environ 60 000 clichés.

Toutes les photographies ont été réalisées avec un appareil photo numérique.

This creation is a diary of mankind. Photography is used here to reveal things which are not legible and visible: feelings, thoughts and obsessions of being. This photographic project is the testimonial of an experience about the comprehension of humanity.

A living creation like a testimony of the human being's reality and virtuality

The project's staging gives a moving atmosphere animated by invisible things, like a journey within a virtual memory fragmented by thoughts witnessing a human reality in which references are confused by an exhilaration of memories; the consequence of a 366 days' experience.

This project was realized throughout one complete year, one of my 20 years, with no interruption from April 12, 2001 to April 12, 2002.

The concept was to take several photographs each day – to illustrate thoughts, feelings, sensations and visions peculiar to each instant – it represents about 60 000 pictures.

All photographs were taken with a digital camera.
